Weekend highlight
Seeing a homeless man stop asking for change for a couple of seconds to read an encouragement card. Then driving by him again after 15 minutes still seeing that card in his hand.
That might’ve been his only sense of being a normal person. And giving him that hope, is one of the highlights of this past weekend
I think this was from like 2 years ago
a sweet escape into disaster
like a seed a thought grows from when you start
from one thought to the next,
the thoughts may seem painless at first, but
the more this thought grows, the more
a simple butterflys flap can cause a tsunami.
be careful of what you think about,
sometimes with time it leads to destruction.
sometimes, peaceful bliss.
But as human as we are. not all of us can control what we feel.
eventually, we venture into disaster
sometimes, its best to go through the disasters full extent.
experience every corner so that we know every destructive thought
to the point to where it makes us numb.
we already know how its like to be destroyed, so we can’t feel destroyed.
But as human as we are, all of us can control what we feel.
“You are the authority on what is not possible”
“for whatever its worth, I’m here to tell you it is possible”
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Well, merry Christmas. I was never good with words around you. So here’s my Christmas wish to you.
I haven’t spoke to you in months. And within those months there has been something on my chest other than the hair on it. There’s a sentence I tell myself over and over..
I’m sorry for my actions. And I never meant to do any harm. And I understand you never meant to either.
Hard work and patience. That’s the rigor part.
